To schedule an inspection or to obtain a permit please call

Leave your name, phone number, property address and the type of
inspection/permit you are requesting.  
Allow two (2) weeks lead time to ensure we can schedule our visit to
meet your intended date.
Application/Permits for the installation and/or alteration of gas or oil
fired heating units should be submitted by your licensed contractor. In
accordance with 527 CMR
Before scheduling your inspection for residential property resale or
initial occupancy, please review the links below to ensure your home is in
compliance with the new state smoke and carbon monoxide detector
regulations.
(There are NO grandfather provisions in these new standards.)

Open Burning season for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts begins January
15th 2012. You MUST obtain a permit before you can conduct open burning.
The permits can be picked up at the Town hall (65 Main street) during normal
business hours or on Saturday mornings (9-12) at fire department
headquarters (162 Main Street).
